Has Social Networking & "Reality" TV created a generation of self involved conceited narcissists?

I agree with you completely they show the ruthless and mean parts of a person's personality and the nice person that tries to be a peace maker or be friends with everyone is seen as a pushover or a wimp. I think that the way that people are raising their children now also has a lot to do with it, nobody wants their kid to be picked on or be a pushover so people go overboard the other way and make their kids into little bullies. This is how people always were we were just taught that it wasn't right to be mean to others. to consider other peoples feelings, and to do unto others as you would have done unto you. None of that seems to be in anyone's vocabulary anymore.
