What describes a person who has faith but fears being called a narcissist or self-centered for being confinden?

They like to look at things as if they will work cause they find that the positive attitude does have influence often on the outcome. Yet, others say they are self-centered, a narcissist. What is this fear of being callted this names called & what would they be if they didn't have the fear? I guess they would be confident but is there something I am missing here?
