Is this a good sign? 10 points very easy yes or no answer.?

My grandpa just died very recently. Yesterday I saw a white dove in front of my house. There rarely ever are birds near my house, and when there are they are black crows. My grandpa has been cremated. I once read that if a family member dies and a dove appears in front of your house that means your loved ones soul is at peace in heaven. Anyway I wrote this off my iPod so please excuse the grammar, and is this a good sign or is it a myth.
